Hey there! My name is Dom Barter and I am currently a Computer Science student at UTC Sheffield. (Whilst also studying Maths and Physics).

I am also the team leader for the Vex Nationals winning robotics team Thomas & Friends. In 2018 we won a place to go and compete in the World Championships in Kentucky. You can read more about it here.


I have completed a number of employer projects for companies such as Insight, The Sheffield Children’s Hospital, The Olympic Legacy Park and The ACF. My main skill is as a JavaScript developer, working with Node.js web applications as well as creating AWS Serverless applications and IOT solutions. I also have experience working in other languages including C#, Python, Java, C++, RobotC and Ruby.
